The Capital One is a financial corporation. This is a McLean, Virginia based bank holding company. The company specializes in providing credit cards, auto loans, home loans, saving and banking products. The company was founded in the year 1988 by Richard Fairbank and Nigel Morris. The company has its headquarters located in McLean, Virginia, USA. With its rapid growth the company has earned some conventional wisdom in its financial sector. With its massive entry into the retail banking in 2005 has made the bank very uncommon. The company also operates in Canada in 1996. It has its head office located in Toronto, Ontario. Capital One’s another headquarter is located in Nottingham, England. In Spain it has its local office located in Madrid. The company was once active in France and South Africa, but has since withdrawn from these markets.
